Oh what a year. It has been a whirlwind of crinkle paper, laughter, and gifting, and I could not be more grateful for the lessons, the friendships, and the growth I have experienced.
Today marks four years since I felt a calling to move home to Virginia Beach - my son and I returned to Sandbridge to enjoy a warm and sunny December day and reflect on how life has evolved since December 2019. It’s hard to believe he has experienced over half of his life in my beloved hometown now…
I’ve walked down many different paths in life, yet the past year as a small business owner has been the most wonderful journey. Life is full of chapters, and I’m blessed to say that each chapter of my life keeps getting better.
As I reflect on 2023, I’m particularly grateful for you - my friends who support my family, Banks & Beach, and me. I love contributing to my community by donating to charitable causes, purchasing from local makers, and bringing people together.
A pod of enthusiastic dolphins played in the waves off shore today and it felt like another message from God. I’m in flow with the universe, on the right path, where I need to be…all is well. I walk the beaches where I played as a child, and there’s no greater gift than instilling a love for this place, and all its natural beauty in my son.
