There is something to be said for being in flow with the universe. Have you ever experienced stretches of time when life seems to feel aligned and simply flow? It’s truly the most glorious experience when there’s an effortless element to life. I’m thankful to be experiencing this state of flow at the moment, and my heart overflows with gratitude.
Life is funny in that hindsight often provides us with crystal clear perspective; the cliché is true - experiencing valleys throughout life enables us to truly cherish the ascent and the moments when we pause at a peak to mindfully take in the view.
If you find yourself in a valley this Thanksgiving, reflect on the law of impermanence, and remember that nothing lasts forever. May sunshine and serendipity find you, and provide you with hope. If you find yourself at the top of the mountain, I hope you truly enjoy the view, shift your gaze towards a taller peak, and continue to climb.
This Thanksgiving, I’m especially grateful for you - my community, clients, artisan makers, family & friends - thank you from the bottom of my heart for making the past year so special.
Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours!
Warmly,
Lauren
